Speed -- I live at 4500 feet above sea level and with a tournament load (for me 100 pounds of tackle, 40 gals of fuel, full live wells, (2) 200-plus-pound anglers etc.) the boat consistently runs in the 71- to 72-mph range. By myself, it runs 73- to 74-mph. At 2000' The boat ran 76 mph with two people, full tackle, full wells and 100lbs of camera gear. During that run the engine was at 5950 rpm with the 25-inch Tempest. With a 26- or 27-inch prop the speed would have been better.
Trailer
Tandem Axle BassCat Trailer with Gator Hyde Finish. This material is very resiliant and rocks bounce off like hitting a piece of rubber. The nice thing about Gator Hyde is that it is clear and the shine is unbelievable. This is a true end to rock chips on the trailer!!!
Single Axle Disc Brakes, Claw wheels with Cooper tires. Reverse Light, IMCO tiedowns, Swing Tongue, LED Lighting.
Delivery
I live in southeast Idaho but I will deliver the boat anywhere in the west for half of the cost of my fuel. If you want to meet half way, that would be great and if you live in the mid-section of the US, I'd drive as far as Kansas to meet you. This is a great boat that gets a lot of attention both on and off the water.
Why am I selling it? I'm getting a new one next spring and yes, it'll be another BassCat Cougar.
